NO. It doesn’t work that way! If you “gain” one or two pounds overnight, it’s just temporary water weight. A pound of body fat equates to approximately 3500 calories. Is that cake 3500 calories? Or, since you say two pounds, is it instead 7000 calories? I highly doubt that.
It’s okay to tell yourself that your body doesn’t need the cake anymore, that you should instead fill up on healthier things like veggies instead of sugar, but fretting over the calories and thinking it’ll make you gain overnight is destructive thinking!
